The Garden by Helena and Gemma

The Garden

Narrator: Flower: Tree:
A tree and a flower
stand in the garden.
Oh! How beautiful I am!
Look how my petals
Gleam in the sun!
Oh! How contraire
My puny little friend!
For I am strong and blow
In the wind!
The humans pick me
Put me in beautiful
vases. They love me!
Oh but how I am so helpful
in helping them breath.
Without me, there would be nobody
to put you in pretty vases you see.
But, but, but, I'm, I..... I um
have petals.
Yes, I know but that doesnt change
anything.
They continue to
argue day after day.
Ummmmmmmmmm.
Haha! You have run out of things to
say.
Then the tree got
struck by lightening.
Don't you see,
Nothing can destroy me!
Shortly after, the tree falls
on the flower. I guess they
learned their lesson.
